About: Commissioned by Jerrie Allen for her daughters: Jennifer, Johanna, and Jessica. The three pieces are based on poetry by Carmen Bernos de Gasztold with English translation by Rumer Godden. 

Premiere: Three Prayers was premiered on November 23, 2015 at Voertman Recital Hall at the University of North Texas, Denton, TX with Jennifer Youngs as soprano and S. Andrew Lloyd at the piano.
